Many thanks to Nikki from both me and my wife over the years! She has worked her magic helping my wife after 2 knee replacements, getting the movement back and helping with both her confidence and walking again. Nikki took the time to listen to my wife's issues with stairs and helped get her leg muscles working as they should.
She also assisted me with a back injury from years ago with which no one else could help. Again she took the time to listen and sort my back out so I wasn't in pain all the time.  She also worked wonders with my frozen shoulder, which, I hope, is in the thawing out stage.
We always highly recommend Woburn Osteopaths for whatever pain relief you may need.

I suffered from almost constant neck pain for years which manifested in frequent migraines.  I had been prescribed various medications and had numerous referrals over an 8 year period but with little success.  The symptoms were attributed to stress and working at a desk for long hours.  The neck pain was part of daily life but the migraines were weekly and unmanageable, so I decided to try osteopathy.

After my first appointment with Luke I felt a reduction in neck pain and my symptoms subside.  With the extended initial consultation Luke took the time to understand the behaviour of the pain and symptoms in conjunction with my lifestyle.  He was able to identify and treat the mechanical causes of the pain with manual targeted techniques which had immediate effects.  Within three treatment sessions the neck pain disappeared and the constant threat of an imminent migraine had gone.  Luke also built up a comprehensive picture of my migraine triggers over time and as a result offered helpful lifestyle advice that wasn’t patronising and exercises that suited me.

I have gone from having weekly treatments to maintenance sessions every 8 weeks and the difference to my daily life has been amazing.  Luke is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly keeps up to date with the latest research.  He is the first person to directly treat the cause of pain but also provide a comprehensive treatment plan that enabled me to get back to enjoying a busy and chaotic life, pain and migraine free (even when stress levels are high!).

The converted fire station also deserves a mention as a stylish and pleasant environment.

Where all the King's horses and all the King's men failed .... Nikki succeeded. Humpty Dumpty (me) never felt so good. Outstanding appraisal: skills of injuries, tightness and soreness. She understood my previous issues and history both physical and psychological. She offered brilliant care and also advice on how to strengthen problem areas and rehab various conditions. Cannot speak highly enough of her skill, care and patience. If you're in pain in the Midlands ... make the journey.

I have always shown a keen interest in my health and wellbeing by exercising regularly and eating as well as I can. I am a 47-year old triathlete and I find myself with an unforgiving year ahead as I build myself up to take part in Ironman Wales in September 2016.

With such a demanding year ahead of days consumed with training sessions, many events to take part in, all culminating into my Ironman challenge, I knew I needed to change my entire lifestyle. Having to balance work, familiy and friends commitments as well as fundraising for my Ironman Journey, the change was not just about one thing, but several. I thought I could do it alone but my mind and body does not know which way to turn and for months I had been very uncomfortable. However, I was determined not to break my disciplined approach to professional consultation.

That was until I stumbled across Emma Berridge on holiday. I felt very comfortable talking with Emma and got to learn about the journey she'd herself experienced with over-demanding work, poor lifestyle choices, a diet that did not suit her and the effects this had on her own health and wellbeing. I realised here is a professional who has not just set up a career in something she has an interest in, but this is someone who has experienced a life changing situation and is very passionate about what she does.

Emma portrays herself with a deep sense of passion and commitment for her client and leaves you with a feeling that she is working for you as if it were her own mind and body she is caring for. Emma has a non-biased view of all the confusing literature and studies you can read about and she helps you unravel all of the confusion whilst tailoring it to suit you and your lifestyle. I gained a deep respect for the advice Emma provided me and in the past few months and with her nutritional knowledge and personal experiences I have changed many things about my diet and nutrition. Emma has advised and helped me with my physical training methods and fine tuned my marathon and Ironman training schedules and has inspired me through lifestyle coaching to prepare myself mentally for the physical demands to come.

Emma is a dedicated and inspirational professional and has provided me with a new respect for professional consultants. My own journey will continue to be tough and unforgiving, but I will go through it safe in the knowledge that I am prepared for it nutritionally energised and mentally stronger.

After long-term neck issues, following an operation after a trauma suffered while playing rugby, my rehab and prolonged maintenance would not have been as successful without regular sessions with Nikki. She has proven very patient and has diligently treated stubborn issues with robust techniques I have not found elsewhere.
I would highly recommend Nikki to anybody struggling with neck/back issues, either acute or for maintenance purposes.
