Osteopathy appointments during Covid-19

News posted by Nikki Harris

Here is a link to a video produced by The Institute of Osteopathy (iO), offering patients an insight as to what to expect from their osteopathic appointment during Covid-19:

Woburn Osteopaths will re-open for face-to-face appointments with effect from Saturday 4th July 2020.

We have worked hard to put in place updated procedures to mitigate any risk of Covid-19.

You will receive a phone call from us 24-48 hours before your scheduled appointment. The aim of this call is to run through a set of questions related to potential exposure to Covid-19. We will discuss whether you have pre-existing conditions which may change the way the appointment takes place. It is a routine screening tool to ensure patient and staff safety in the clinical setting.

If you start to show Covid-19 symptoms, 3 days either side of your appointment, it is imperative that you notify Woburn Osteopaths.

Please appreciate that our intention throughout all of this concerning time is to keep everyone safe and healthy. If you would like to discuss this any further by telephone, we will be more than happy to do so.

We hope to see you soon.  Many thanks for your patience and support.

Luke and Nikki
